The Society has for many years assisted needy elderly persons within the Bristol postcode area. On 31st December 2016, the activities of the Society were transferred to The Anchor Society CIO (Charity no: 1167933), together with the assets and liabilities on that date. The Anchor Society CIO will be continuing the same policies of providing support for the needy in the Bristol area.
