Activities - how the charity spends its money
The trust preserves, for public benefit, the land and buildings of the Garrett Engineering Works, established in Leiston, Suffolk in 1778 together with engines and other artefacts made there. The museum also collects and preserves items relating to the local area and to the history of the Garrett Family, has a strong educational programme and organises visits, lectures and fundraising events.
