Founded in 1715 to help, poor children apprentices to some honest calling. The Charity seeks to assist young people under the age of 25 in their preparation for work, training or higher education.This has included: Equipment for training. Travel or living expenses for training courses. Purchase of books and voluntary work. Awards are modest but seek to facilitate learning, access and opportunity.
