1. TO RELIEVE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH HEMIPLEGIA BY: A. PROMOTING THEIR RIGHTS AND WELL BEING; B. PROVIDING INFORMATION AND SUPPORT FOR THEM, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS; C. RAISING PUBLIC AND PROFESSIONAL AWARENESS OF THE CONDITION; D. SEEKING TO INFLUENCE PUBLIC POLICY ON THEIR BEHALF. 2. TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN HEMIPLEGIA AND ITS ASSOCIATED CONDITIONS BY UNDERTAKING OR ASSISTING IN RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF HEMIPLEGIA AND ASSOCIATED CONDITIONS.
