Activities - how the charity spends its money
The trust awards grants to charitable organisations at home and abroad which are working to help disadvantaged people. Applications are received from these organisations and are considered once a year by the trustees. The applications are short-listed and local opinion then sought as to which of the short-list are favoured. Usually four/five grants are awarded.
