Charitable objects
19.1 FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY AND SURROUNDING BOROUGHS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE LOCAL AUTHORITY, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, THE ARTS AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; 19.2 TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF BUILDINGS OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY HORNSEY TOWN HALL, TO ENABLE THEM TO BE ENJOYED BY THE PUBLIC; 19.3 TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF CHARITIES AND THE EFFECTIVE USE OF CHARITABLE RESOURCES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY (A) PROVIDING ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER FACILITIES AND SERVICES TO CHARITIES AND (B) LIAISING WITH, AND ACTING AS A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION BETWEEN, CHARITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND AGENCIES WORKING IN HARINGEY, AND THEREBY SUPPORTING THEIR WORK IN FURTHERANCE OF CHARITABLE PURPOSES; AND 19.4 TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.
