The Skills Academy was set up by employers to transform the quality of leadership at all levels of the adult social care workforce and beyond. A membership body, the Academy achieves this by developing leadership strategies and practical guidance; by designing and providing leadership development programmes; by identifying good social care trainers; and by developing leadership thinking.
