Register of Charities - The Charity Commission SRI LANKA WOMEN'S SWIMMING PROJECT
Activities - how the charity spends its money
A huge challenge to 2022 free swimming lessons for women from terrorism, covid and economic collapse of government following the invasion of Ukraine: Pools have closed, the World Conference on Drowning Prevention relocated from Colombo to Perth and most of our local female teachers immigrated. Volunteers from abroad have helped for weeks at a time as local efforts continue at much reduced levels.
