PENGUINS AGAINST CANCER IS A CHARITY SET UP TO COMBAT CANCER. ITS FOUNDERS WERE DRAWN FROM GUY'S HOSPITAL PENGUINS BUT NOW ITS MEMBERS COME FROM A WIDE RANGE OF AGES, BACKGROUNDS AND PROFESSIONS, ALL UNITING TO SUPPORT CANCER RESEARCH, CANCER TREATMENT AND HOSPICES. PAC HAS NO START-UP OR RUNNING COSTS: EVERY PENNY DONATED GOES TO THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH AND THE SAVING OF LIVES OF PEOPLE AFFECTED BY CANCER IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (I) RAISING AWARENESS OF CANCER; (II) MAKING GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS INVOLVED IN CANCER RESEARCH TO SUPPORT RESEARCH AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH; AND (III) MAKING GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS INVOLVED IN CANCER TREATMENT AND TO HOSPICES.
