The purpose of the Gwernymynydd Village Centre is to provide recreational facilities for residents of Gwernymynydd and the surrounding areas to enjoy. The charity is composed of trustees who are resident in or have a connection to Gwernymynydd. The charity has taken a 25-year lease from Flintshire County Council to manage and run the Village Centre independently.
