Grasmere Red Squirrel Group Activities We conserve red squirrels in the Grasmere area of Cumbria by - feeding and monitoring them using people and cameras - removing sick specimens so they do not spread viruses and diseases - controlling grey squirrels using lawful and humane means - educating the public via leaflets, posters, newsletters, social media and face to face talks
