(A)TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES AND IN PARTICULAR THE CORPS OF ROYAL ENGINEERS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE ROYAL ENGINEERS); (B)TO PROMOTE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE ROYAL ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION AND THE INSTITUTION OF ROYAL ENGINEERS AS LAID DOWN IN THEIR RESPECTIVE CHARTERS; (C)TO FOSTER AN ESPRIT DE CORPS IN THE ROYAL ENGINEERS; (D)TO RELIEVE EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY NECESSITOUS PERSONS BEING MEMBERS OR FORMER MEMBERS OF THE ROYAL ENGINEERS OR THE DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE BENEFICIARIES)
