Activities - how the charity spends its money
The objects of the Charity, in accordance with the will of Thomas Plume who died on 20th November 1704, are to preserve and maintain the Plume Library in Maldon and its contents, and to make them publicly available for the benefit of scholars and the wider community.The Trustees employ a librarian and support staff to manage the library, continue conservation work and supervise public access.
