TO CARRY OUT RESEARCH INTO, SUPPORT AND MAKE GRANTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESEARCH INTO AND PROMOTE BY ALL AVAILABLE MEANS THE STUDY OF DISEASE IN RELATION TO THE SKIN AND ALLIED SUBJECTS AND TO GENERALLY IMPROVE THE STANDARD OF KNOWLEDGE OF AND TEACHING AND DISSEMINATING THE MEANS OF PREVENTION, DIAGNOSIS METHODS OF TREATMENT AND CURE THEREOF AND TO INITIATE, ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN DERMATOLOGY AND INVESTIGATION INTO THE CAUSES OF SKIN DISEASES, THEIR PREVENTION, ALLEVIATION AND CURE.
