Register of Charities - The Charity Commission THAMES BOATS TRUST
Activities - how the charity spends its money
The ultimate object of the Trustees is to establish a River Thames Heritage Centre on a site by the Upper Thames. The Trust recently purchased the Thames Steam Launch "Cygnet" built in 1870 by J I Thornycroft. "Cygnet" is unique in that it is the only historical small steam river launch from the 1870's which has retained originality of build. "Cygnet" will be retained in this original condition.
