TO PROMOTE THE FOLLOWING CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AND THE SIKH COMMUNITY IN THE UK AND AROUND THE WORLD: A) ADVANCE EDUCATION BY UNDERTAKING AND PUBLISHING RESEARCH ON THE NATURE, NEEDS AND CONCERNS OF THE SIKH COMMUNITY IN ADDITION TO SIKH HERITAGE, CULTURE, HISTORY, LITERATURE, PHILOSOPHY, LANGUAGE, BELIEFS AND SIKH ETHOS BASED PERSPECTIVES ON SOLUTIONS TO LOCAL, NATIONAL AND GLOBAL PROBLEMS. B) PROMOTE RELIGIOUS AND RACIAL HARMONY BY RAISING AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF SIKH HERITAGE, CULTURE, HISTORY, LITERATURE, PHILOSOPHY, LANGUAGE AND BELIEFS.
