FOUNDING AND ESTABLISHING IN THE TOWN OF NOTTINGHAM AN INSTITUTION, THE OBJECT AND PURPOSE WHEREOF SHALL BE, BY LECTURING AND TEACHING, AND ADOPTING OTHER MEANS TO INCREASE THE INTELLIGENCE AND THE ENLIGHTENMENT, TEMPERANCE AND MORALITY AND WELL BEING OF THE PEOPLE GENERALLY, BUT MORE ESPECIALLY OF THE INDUSTRAIL CLASSES AND OF PERSONS POSSESSING ONLY SMALL WORLDLY ADVANTAGES.
