THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY:- 1.THE EXPLORATION AND PRESERVATION OF MINES AND MINING SITES IN CUMBRIA. 2.THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MINING HERITAGE CENTRE TO PRESERVE AND DISPLAY MINING ARTIFACTS. 3.THE RESEARCH AND RECORDING OF ALL ASPECTS OF MINES AND MINING COMMUNITIES IN CUMBRIA.
