Charitable objects
(1) THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO: (A) ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS; AND (B) ARE RESIDENT IN THE BOROUGH OF LUTON; AND (C) ARE EITHER FORMER MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OR THE MERCANTILE MARINE OR ARE DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS; (2) THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED OR INFIRM AND ARE RESIDENT IN THE BOROUGH OF LUTON.
