Charitable objects

FOR RELIEVING PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE FORMER URBAN DISTRIC OF POULTON-LE-FYLDE WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER OF PREFERENCE:- (I) PERSONS WHOSE NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS WAS CAUSED BY OR AROSE OUT OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR; (II) PERSONS WHO SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR; (III) PERSONS WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN; AND (IV) DEPENDANTS OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PERSONS.
