Charitable objects
A) THE PROVISION OF HOUSING ACCOMMODATION FOR PERSONS OVER THE AGE OF 55 RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, PREFERENCE BEING GIVEN TO PERSONS LIVING IN THE CHAPELRY OF GRAYRIGG; B) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE. 2) IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES THE TRUSTEES MAY ALLOW TO OCCUPY AN ALMSHOUSE OF THE CHARITY, SOMEONE ( WHO IS OTHERWISE QUALIFIED) WHO IS UNDER THE AGE OF 55. 3) THE LAND IDENTIFIED IN PART 1 OF THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME MUST BE RETAINED BY THE TRUSTEES FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY.

THE CHAPELRY OF GRAYRIGG AND THE CIVIL PARISHES OF OLD HUTTON, NEW HUTTON, SKELSMERGH, SELSIDE , LONGSLEDDALE, FIRBANK AND HOWGILL.
