TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE BY THE PROMOTION OF THE USE OF THE DISUSED CHEDDAR VALLEY RAILWAY LINE AS A LEISURE WALK AND A NATURE RESERVE.
