THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND SICKNESS OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE AND WHO ARE HOMELESS OR WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY THE PROVISION OF A CENTRE OF CENTRES FOR THE TREATMENT, REHABILITATION AND SHELTER OF THOSE SUFFERING THEREFROM. THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT TO THOSE PERSONS SUFFERING FROM OR WHO MAY HAVE SUFFERED FROM OR WHO MAY HAVE SUFFERED FROM ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE. TO UNDERTAKE RESEARCH INTO ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE AND ITS TREATMENT AND TO PUBLISH ANY USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
