Charitable objects
1) TO FURTHER THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF CHILDREN ATTENDING WIDEWELL PRIMARY SCHOOL (THE SCHOOL) IN THE COUNTY OF PLYMOUTH AND THE SOUTHWAY WARD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. 2) TO APPLY SUCH YEARLY SUM AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT FROM TIME TO TIME IN PROVIDING SUCH SPECIAL BENEFITS OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY FOR THE SCHOOL AS SHALL BE AGREED BETWEEN THE TRUSTEES AND THE GOVERNORS OF THE SCHOOL. 3) TO EDUCATE AND ASSIST YOUNG PERSONS AND OTHER RESIDENTS OF THE SURROUNDING AREA THROUGH THEIR LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW IN MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THAT OBJECT TO PROVIDE IN OR NEAR THE SCHOOL A CENTRE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES, CLASSES AND OTHER FORMS OF LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF THE BENEFIT OF YOUNG PERSONS AND RESIDENTS.
