TO RELIEVE PHYSICAL AND FUNCTIONAL DISABILITY IN STROKE SURVIVORS ADMITTED TO THE ACUTE STROKE UNIT IN SPRUE WARD AND ASSOCIATED WARDS IN BARUET HOSPITAL, BY PROVIDING SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES OVER AND ABOVE THAT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE NHS FOR THE PURPOSE OF RE-HABILITATION AND RESTORATION OF PHYSICAL INDEPENDENCE OF STROKE SURVIVORS.
