THE OYSTER PROJECT IS A MEMBER LED DISABLED & OLDER PERSONS SELF-HELP CHARITY FOUNDED AND RUN BY DISABLED PEOPLE. THE MAJORITY OF OUR TRUSTEES AND ALL CORE PROJECT DELIVERERS ARE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND/OR ELDERLY. WE PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS TO VOLUNTEER IN MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES, DEVELOPED & SUPPORTED BY EACH OTHER. THE CHARITY HOLDS THE QUEEN'S AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE.
