Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Society was formed to resist pressure to radically alter the town. The Society works to protect the local environment by monitoring new building design, protecting and preserving old buildings, and encouraging good modern design of new building. The Society maintains a photographic archive, holds events for members, and collaborates with other groups and societies who have similar interests.
