TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH BY INITIALLY PROVIDING EQUIPMENT TO THE EAST LANCASHIRE HEALTH TRUST TO UNDERTAKE CANCER SCREENING SERVICES WITH THE LONG TERM GOAL OF ESTABLISHING AND RUNNING FACILITIES TO SUPPORT THE SCREENING PROCESS IN EAST LANCASHIRE AND THE WIDER REGIONAL AREA.
