THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ACCORDING TO THE BAPTIST UNION OF GREAT BRITAIN'S DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLE OF 1873 AS UPDATED IN 1904, 1906 AND 1938. THE CIO MAY ALSO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND CARRY OUT OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND/OR OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD.
