THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROMOTE THE ARTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF JARROW AND SURROUNDING AREA BY PROMOTING AMATEUR THEATRE IN THE PRODUCTION AND PERFORMANCE OF MUSICALS, PANTOMIMES, PLAYS AND CONCERTS AND OTHER SUCH PRODUCTIONS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT.
