THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE IN MALI, UGANDA, TANZANIA, TOGO, CHAD, MADAGASCAR, TURKEY, BANGLADESH AND THE PHILIPPINES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, FOOD, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS, WORKING TO ASSIST SUCH INDIVIDUALS.
