Charitable objects

(1) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, ALMOST EX-SERVICE AND EX-MERCHANT SERVICE PERSONNEL WHO TOOK PART IN, OR SERVED IN ESCORTS TO CONVOYS TO POLYARNOE AND MURMANSK, RUSSIA DURING THE 2ND WORLD WAR. (2) TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS WHOSE OBJECTS ARE TO PROMOTE THE TEACHING OF THE HISTORY, SPIRIT AND TRADITIONS OF THE SEA SERVICE (ROYAL NAVY AND MERCHANT NAVY) IN SCHOOLS AND ELSEWHERE.
