Charitable objects

1. TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF LABORATORY ANIMAL SCIENCE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT BUT NOT OTHERWISE: 2. TO PROMOTE THE INTERCHANGE OFSCIENTIFIC INFORMATON AMONG PERSONS INTERESTED IN LABORATORY ANIMAL SCIENCE BY MEANS OF MEETINGS, LECTURES, DEMONSTRATIONS, DISCUSSIONS AND PUBLICATIONS AS APPROPRIATE. 3. TO ENCOURANGE EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN LABORATORY ANIMAL SCIENCE. 4. TO CO-OPERATE WITH ALL OTHER BODIES INTERESTED IN LABORATORY ANIMAL WELFARE AND TECHNOLOGY.
