THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE IN NEED WHO ARE AFFECTED EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY BY ABUSE IN THE HOME, IN PARTICULAR BY SUPPLYING THEM WITH COUNSELLING, ACCESS TO SUPPORT AND INFORMATION, AND TO PROMOTE A WIDER UNDERSTANDING OF THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE.
