THE DIFFUSING OF RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION AND MORAL INSTRUCTION FOUNDED ON OR BEING A NECESSARY PORTION OR CONCOMITANT OF RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE WORLD BY PREACHING AND PUBLISHING THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD AND THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL OF CHRIST, ALSO THE PROMOTION OF HEALTH AND TEMPERANCE BY THE DIFFUSION OF TRUE RELIGIOUS PRINCIPLES AS TO THE CONDUCT OF LIFE, AND THE ENGAGEMENT IN WORK FOR THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND DISTRESS IN ANY WAY AND BY ANY MEANS WHICH MAY BE CONSIDERED BEST IN THE INTERESTS OF THE COMPANY AND MOST LIKELY TO PROMOTE ITS OBJECTS.
