Charitable objects
THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF PERSONS BETWEEN 17 AND 30 YEARS OF AGE STUDYING ANY ACTIVITY THAT ENABLES PRODUCTION FROM THE LAND, UTILISES PRODUCE FORM THE LAND, ENABLES LAND TO BE USED FOR ANY PRODUCTIVE PURPOSE (I.E. FENCING, DRAINING ETC) CONSERVES SOILS, PROTECTS CROPS OR WHICH CONTRIBUTES TO THE LANDSCAPE, WILDLIFE AND ENJOYMENT OF THE COUNTRYSIDE. APPLICANTS ARE TO BE LIVING IN NORFOLK, CAMBRIDGESHIRE, ESSEX OR SUFFOLK BY GRANTING TRAVEL AWARD(S) (ANNUALLY OR SUCH INTERVALS AS THE AWARDS COMMITTEE SHALL DECIDE). PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUFFOLK BASED APPLICANTS IN ANY ONE YEAR. THE AWARD IS TO ENABLE TRAVEL TO OTHER COUNTRIES OR THROUGHOUT THE BRITISH ISLES IN ORDER TO STUDY DIFFERENT FARMING METHODS, RURAL CRAFTS AND RURAL INDUSTRIES.
