THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY AND ESPECIALLY THE INHABITANTS OF LONDON BOROUGHS THE PRESERVATION OF THE NATURAL AMENITIES OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND GENERALLY TO PROTECT PRESERVE AND CULTIVATE THE CHARACTER AND SURROUNDS OF THE SAID LONDON BOROUGHS AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THE PURPOSE OF PLANTING TREES AND FLORA OR EFFECTING ARRANGEMENTS FOR PLANTING THE SAME.
