Charitable objects
(1) TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE 2ND INFANTRY DIVISION. (2) TO ESTABLISH A PERMANENT PUBLIC MEMORIAL OR MEMORIALS TO MEMBERS OF THE DIVISION WHO HAVE FALLEN IN BATTLE. (3) TO RELIEVE EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PAST OR PRESENT MEMBERS OF THE DIVISION AND IN PARTICULAR PAST MEMBERS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.
