(A).THE ADVANCEMENT AND SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE FIELD OF GASTROENTOLIGY WHICH INCLUDES THE STUDY OF PHYSIOLOGY AND PATHOLOGY OF THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM. (B). TO PROMOTE THE STUDY AND RESEARCH WORK IN MEDICINE AND SURGERY WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE PHYSIOLOGY OF THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM AND TO PUBLISH WHERE APPROPRIATE THE RESULTS OF SUCH STUDY AND RESEARCH.
