TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DISTRICT OF MID SUSSEX AND IN GEOGRAPHICALLY ADJACENT AREAS ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") AND IN PARTICULAR TO RELIEVE POVERTY, DISTRESS, AND SICKNESS AND PROTECT AND PRESERVE HEALTH BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FURNITURE AND HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE AND HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT FREE OF CHARGE TO PEOPLE IN NEED IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
