Charitable objects
A) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND NEED, THE ADVANCEMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION, THE PROMOTION OF FACILITIES FOR LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, AND SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS ARE CHARITABLE IN LAW, IN PARTICULAR BY ENCOURAGING AND FACILITATING MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO OFFER THEIR TIME AND EFFORTS VOLUNTARILY TO ORGANISATIONS ENGAGED IN THE PURSUIT OF CHARITABLE PURPOSES;
B) TO PROMOTE AND FACILITATE THE MORE EFFECTIVE WORKING OF CHARITIES AND TO PROMOTE AND FACILITATE THE ACHIEVEMENT OF CHARITABLE PURPOSES BY VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM, IN PARTICULAR BY ASSISTING SUCH CHARITIES AND ORGANISATIONS TO MAKE THE MOST EFFECTIVE USE OF VOLUNTEERS.
