Charitable objects

THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS: (I) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS (WHETHER BY FINANCIAL MEANS OR OTHERWISE) OF ALL THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE, OR MAY SUCCUMB TO THE VIRUS KNOWN AS SEVERE ACUTE RESPIRATORY SYNDROME (OR "SARS") AND THE DEPENDENTS OR RELATIVES OF SUCH INDIVIDUALS (WHETHER THE VICTIM BE ALIVE OR DEAD) WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH RELIEF IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA, BY SUCH CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE SAID TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME. (II) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA, BY SUCH CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE SAID TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME.
