Charitable objects
1. THE OBJECTS OF BEMA-D SHALL BE THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY WHO ARE FROM ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES, BY THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION AND ADVICE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT RESTRICTED TO, ADVICE ON EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, HEALTH, HOUSING AND RECREATION THROUGH LIAISON WITH INSTITUTES, COLLEGES, SPECIAL CARE NEEDS, INTERPRETERS/ TRANSLATORS AND ANY OTHER MEASURES NEEDED WHICH ENABLE THE COMMUNITY TO ENJOY THE FULL SERVICES OF BEMA-D. 2. TO IDENTIFY THE NEEDS OF THE ETHNIC MINORITY DISABLED PEOPLE WHILST PROMOTING AND AVAIL REQUIREMENTS. THE CHARITY SHALL WORK WITH EMPLOYERS AND AGENCIES KEEN TO IMPLEMENT POLICIES, SHALL INSTITUTE AND SUPPORT GOOD WORKING PRACTICES FOR DISABLED WORKERS 3. BEMA-D SHALL IMPROVE ON THE PROVISION OF SERVICES TO THE ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES, INCLUDING REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS BY PROVIDING OR ADVISING WHERE TO FIND SPECIALISTS IN THE FOLLOWING: I. TRAINING, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT, II. ADVOCACY, ADVICE AND INFORMATION, III. SIGN POSTING TO EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, IV. INTERPRETATION AND TRANSLATION.
