Charitable objects
A TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF PORTSMOUTH AND DISTRICT (HEREINAFTER CALLED 'THE AREA OF BENEFIT') BY BRINGING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS, LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF THE LIDO, THE SPLASHPOOL, AND THE BLUE LAGOON ON THE HILSEA LIDO SITE IN PORTSMOUTH HAMPSHIRE (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE HILSEA LIDO SITE'); AND
B TO CONSERVE AND IMPROVE THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE HILSEA LIDO SITE.
