The Lions Club of Tavistock organises fund raising activities for and on behalf of the local community of Tavistock and the surrounding area. Events include the Town Carnival, a firework display, the Westcountry Balloon Fiesta and the Christmas Trees of Light. The Club also helps the local council with a park and ride scheme for Goose Fair and provides marshals for other events in the town.
