THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:
TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE HISTORY OF PHARMACY BY:
· STIMULATING INTEREST IN AND PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING RESEARCH AND STUDY IN THE HISTORY OF
PHARMACY NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY;
· FURTHERING THE PUBLICATION OF STUDIES IN THE HISTORY OF PHARMACY;
· ORGANISING MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES FOR THE READING OF PAPERS ON THE HISTORY OF PHARMACY,
PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES AND MEDICINE; AND
· ESTABLISHING CONTACT NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY WITH OTHER SOCIETIES FOR HISTORICAL STUDIES.
