THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROTECT AND PROMOTE THE MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC, AND PREDOMINANTLY OF PEOPLE AGED 18 AND OVER IN THE AIRE AND WHARFE VALLEYS AND IN CRAVEN, BY FACILITATING THE PROVISION AND DEVELOPMENT OF A SAFE AND AFFORDABLE COUNSELLING SERVICE.
