Charitable objects
1 (A) PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF ST WENN WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, NATIONALITY, AGE, DISABILITY, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; 1 (b) The property demised St Wenn WI Hall (hereafter called the premises) shall be held upon trust in the interests of social welfare for the recreation and leisure-time occupation for the inhabitants of the Parish of St Wenn without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, nationality, age, disability, race or political, religious or other opinions with the purpose: (1) Advance education in;- (i) All branches of agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health, and social welfare; (ii) Local, national and international issues of political and social importance; (iii)Music drama and other cultural subjects; (2) To advance health for the public benefit; (3) To advance citizenship for the public benefit by the promotion of civic responsibility and volunteering. (4) to promote sustainable development for the public benefit by: (i) educating people in the preservation, conservation and protection of the environment and the prudent use of natural resources; and (ii) promoting sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration.
