THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS AND HELP PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS OR DEAFNESS IN ESSEX, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REMOVING OR REDUCING THE LIMITATIONS CAUSED BY THOSE CONDITIONS ON THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE AND TO ENJOY LIFE.
