(1) TO CONSERVE OR ASSIST IN THE CONSERVATION OF TROPICAL RAINFORESTS BY SUPPORTING AND INITIATING PROJECTS OR VENTURES THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE SUSTAINABLE CONSERVATION OF THE BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY OF FORESTED AREAS. (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND OTHERS CONCERNING THE ECOLOGICAL VALUE OF TROPICAL FORESTS AND THE NECESSITY FOR THEIR CONSERVATION.
